Alif Bank has launched a new feature in its mobile app that enables users to send commission-free transfers from Tajikistan to U.S. bank accounts. The launch was officially announced on alif.tj [https://alif.tj/en/bank/news/for-the-first-time-in-tajikistan-commission-free-online-transfers-to-the-u-s] earlier this week. The service, launched in collaboration with Alif's long-standing partner Visa, allows users to send funds online without visiting a branch or paying high fees.

Historically, sending money from Tajikistan to the U.S. was costly and time-consuming, often involving multiple intermediaries and significant transfer fees. The new feature offers a faster and more affordable solution for Tajik students studying abroad and families supporting relatives across borders. All transfers remain subject to standard currency-control regulations.
