Atlantik Elektronik presents the new highly integrated Thundercomm TurboX C8750 System-on-Module (SOM) and Thundercomm TurboX C8750 Development Kit, designed for demanding IoT and Edge AI applications with high performance.

The TurboX C8750 SOM is based on the Qualcomm Technologies processor of the same name and is manufactured using advanced 3nm process technology that enables exceptional computing performance, cutting-edge AI acceleration and superior multimedia capabilities in a compact form factor.

It is built on Qualcomm Technologies' next-generation Oryon(TM) architecture, enabling up to 50% higher CPU efficiency for compute-intensive workloads. The 8th generation Qualcomm® AI Engine delivers a more than 10x increase in AI performance and supports various models from INT4 to FP16.

With support for Android(TM) 15 and Linux, the C8750 SOM offers maximum flexibility and compatibility for use in a wide range of development environments. The integrated, hypervisor-based and secure virtualization function ensures data protection, system isolation and reliable operation in all use cases.

The TurboX C8750 SOM's visual performance with real-time video decoding at 8K60 and 4K240, multi-camera input capabilities and an enhanced ISP pipeline enables ultra-clear imaging, true-to-life video playback and impressive graphics rendering for complex edge applications.

The TurboX C8750 SOM is approximately 30% more compact than comparable solutions, making it ideal for integration into devices with limited dimensions. It is specifically designed for high-performance IoT and edge AI devices, including AR/VR/XR devices, edge servers, AI-enabled gateways, video conferencing platforms, smart home hubs and entertainment systems, as well as industrial IoT systems that require real-time AI inference.

Combining the Qualcomm Technologies processor and Thundercomm's proven design expertise, the TurboX C8750 SOM accelerates the deployment of edge AI, from prototype to production. With support for AV1, multi-format video and scalable AI, it ensures future-proof performance for the most demanding applications.
