Tolkien Days 2026: Tickets for Saturday and Sunday now available

Weekend tickets for Saturday and Sunday have been available in advance since September 1, 2025. The day tickets for Saturday and Sunday will follow from November 1, 2025. Tickets for Thursday (cinema evening) and Friday (concert evening) are already available.
Program highlights 2026
* Thursday, May 28: Open-air cinema with _The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey _(English original with German subtitles)
* Friday, May 29: Open-air concert evening with epic music:
* Wind Rose, the Italian power metallers who perform on stage as real dwarves and are known for their powerful songs about dwarves and fantasy worlds with their now six studio albums.
* Sagenbringer, a folk-metal band with a distinctive sound and impressive stage presence, whose songs about Tolkien's works are particularly convincing and take you into a world of legends and myths
* Paul Corfield Godfrey, who presents a unique musical work on Middle-earth with his _Lord of the Rings Opera_. At the Tolkien Days, excerpts from the extensive work will be performed with opera singers and piano.
* Saturday & Sunday, 30 & 31 May: Two days of travel through Middle-earth: with Tolkienesque costume groups from Rohan to Erebor, fantastic readings, exciting lectures, creative workshops, authentic crafts, detailed market stalls, rousing live music, colorful hands-on activities and a large family program.
* Saturday evening: live concert by Hadadanza, who will perform energetic pagan folk rock and bring numerous songs about Tolkien's legends and stories to the stage.
Volunteering at the heart of the event
The Tolkien Days are an event of the German Tolkien Society and are organized almost entirely by volunteers. Hundreds of helpers are involved in the preparations throughout the year and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the days of the event.
From designing the program to looking after the guests - without this commitment, an event of this size would be unthinkable. This passion also ensures the special and familiar atmosphere that inspires visitors from all over the world.
