'A Devil's Tempest' Enters Post-Production: A Bold New Horror film from Acclaimed Author Lee Hayes
The film follows Elijah Thibodeaux, an exiled witch whose jealousy over his lover's suspected infidelity leads him to invoke forbidden blood magic. What begins as suspicion soon spirals into a storm of violence and possession, trapping his significant other and his best friend, Steven in a night of supernatural terror.
Produced with a striking focus on Creole folklore and psychological horror, A Devil's Tempest is slated to begin its festival run in 2026.
"This story examines how destructive jealousy can become when combined with power," said writer Lee Hayes. "It's both a supernatural thriller and a meditation on obsession."
