How to prevent abreuvage in steel casting parts

Steel Casting parts abreuvage problem always bothering factories which do not know how to solve it, the professional casting factory Parfect Casting Co.,Ltd introduce a few methods to prevent abreuvage.

1, the small grain size casting use sand would be helpful.

2, make sure sand pattern has no extra coal dust and water, make vent hole for sand pattern and core.

3, Reduce the dynamical pressure in cast pattern. Add more vent hole, gas hole, high ramming sand pattern can add air discharge duct.

4, Avoid static pressure in sand pattern; under the condition of meet the castings feeding, factory can make riser height not too high; To avoid the ladle directly pour into sprue, when necessary, factory can use basin shape sprue to buffer metal flow, and form a constant static pressure head.

5, Sand pattern should be good and tight. Cast steel modeling should be not overload, pressure molding machine of the compressed air supply should maintain regulation, avoid using sand pattern in too wet or storage period too long condition. Hard core box vent (plug) shall not be blocked; the way to prevent abreuvage is not only by good liquidity, but also tight sand pattern.
