Bigpond Email Setup using IMAP, POP, or SMTP

Have you switched to new device like smart phone and smart PCs. But after that unable to access or don't know how to setup Bigpond mail account through mail servers like IMAP, POP or SMTP. Usually, Bigpond Telstra mail users use to face such issues very common so will tell you how to setup email account in client mail app through Telstra servers.
For IMAP:
• Incoming Server: imap.telstra.com,
Port 993, Encryption: SSL/TLS.
• Outgoing Server: smtp.telstra.com
Port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (TLS)
Encryption: SSL/TLS or TLS.
Username: Bigpond email address.
Password: Email password.
Authentication: Required for outgoing server (SMTP).

For POP:
• Incoming Server: Pop.telstra.com
Port 995
Encryption: SSL/TLS.
• Outgoing Server: smtp.telstra.com
Port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (TLS)
Encryption: SSL/TLS or TLS.
Username Bigpond email address.
Password: Email password.
Authentication: Required for outgoing server (SMTP).
Notes: If Imap.telstra.com or pop.telstra.com does not work than use mail.bigpond.com. Still if you are not able to configure Bigpond email account than get support through Bigpond Customer Care
