Atlanta, GA - James Shaw, a dedicated Georgia entrepreneur and advocate for fostering innovation, is proud to announce the launch of the Jim Shaw Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund. This $1,000 scholarship is designed to support entrepreneurial-minded college students who are eager to develop innovative ideas, start new ventures, and create meaningful change in their communities.

Scholarship Eligibility - Entrepreneurial Focus
Applicants for the Jim Shaw Entrepreneurial Scholarship must:

Be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college freshman.

Be planning to enroll in a U.S. college or university for Fall 2026.

Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship or business leadership through coursework, extracurricular activities, or personal projects.

Submit a 500-1000-word essay on the topic: "Describe a business idea or innovation you are passionate about and how you plan to bring it to life."
Additional materials:

Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a teacher, mentor, or business professional).
