The Institute serves as the primary agency responsible for the efficient oversight, promotion, and support of Thai handicrafts. These include promoting and supporting occupations to create sustainable Thai handicraft products; developing product quality and standards through the application of technology, innovation, creativity, and local wisdom to product development; and adding value to products by opening and selling Thai handicraft markets both domestically and internationally
