What inspired you to write Prayerful Warrior Mom ?
After retiring from a 27-year career in finance, I felt a profound calling to share my family's story, not for myself, but for the countless mothers facing the terrifying reality of a child's congenital heart defect. When my son was born, I longed for a glimpse of hope: proof that, despite the surgeries and hospital stays, a full and joyful childhood was still possible. Prayerful Warrior Mom was born from that desire: to give other parents the reassurance, hope, and practical insight I wish I'd had.
Beyond the book, our mission grew into something larger: to help people discover their inner strength through faith. Through resources like our 7-day Scripture Guide, inspirational content, and an inclusive online community, we aim to empower others to lean into faith, find peace amid chaos, and realize that with God's help, even the most overwhelming challenges can be met with courage and hope.

How did your background and experience influence your writing?
My writing is deeply rooted in my lived experience and the struggles I faced climbing the corporate ladder while balancing faith, family, and advocating for my child facing a medical crisis.
Growing up in a Christian home provided the spiritual grounding I leaned on most during our darkest moments. But it was the night I nearly lost my five-week-old infant that truly transformed my faith. Alone by his hospital bed, I faced a choice: be consumed by fear or surrender to prayer. Choosing to place my son's life in God's hands was a turning point, a moment that reshaped my relationship with faith and taught me the power of letting go. Whatever the outcome, I trusted Him completely. Looking back, this was a pivotal moment that deepened my faith like never before.
What is one message you would like readers to remember?
There are two key messages that I hope readers carry with them after reading my book.
For one, you are not alone. God is with you, and if you don't know Him, He is always waiting for you to invite Him into your heart to walk this path with you.
The second is the importance of taking care of yourself. We can't pour from an empty cup, and when we're overwhelmed by stress, exhaustion, anger or resentment, we lose our ability to support those we love or succeed in our work.
The real-life lessons I share in Prayerful Warrior Mom will guide you towards healing by surrendering your burdens to God. When you trust in Him, even your darkest moments can be transformed, revealing unexpected miracles and renewed strength to carry on.
