Parker Creek Productions and DoubleThink Productions are introducing their latest production, the noir thriller "Lonesome Town", with a special event inviting guests to participate in the film’s production. “There’s so much going on in the independent filmmaking scene in San Antonio”, says Wes Barlow, Co-Founder of Parker Creek Productions and director of "Lonesome Town", “and this is a great chance for people to get involved and show their support. Even something as small as a $5 donation can buy some bottled water for the crew, so every little bit helps!”
The event will include a special presentation of the film’s teaser trailer and a Jack Daniels (one of the film’s sponsors) liquor tasting. Directors Wes Barlow and Justin Barlow, and actors Michael Lange and Cliff Weeks, will be on hand for a Q&A. The event will also feature a meet-and-greet with several members of the cast and crew, and an appearance by Ashley Anderson-Toudouze, Miss San Antonio USA 2007, will round out the evening’s festivities.
Forms will be available at this event (and online beginning April 3) for anyone interested in becoming an investment partner in "Lonesome Town".

The event is FREE of charge. Complimentary hors d’oeurves will be provided, but there will be a cash bar.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Parker Creek Productions, in association with DoubleThink Productions, presents the feature film "Lonesome Town", a highly stylized film noir currently in production in Central Texas. The film features a town populated by unsavory characters and run by a sadistic lunatic, and follows two men – one an alcoholic gambler, the other a musician with a sinister past – as they fight to escape a web of treachery while also attempting to overcome the darkness within them.
The film is directed by Wes Barlow and Justin Barlow, whose short film "Name That Tune" won First Place in the 2007 San Antonio 48 Hour Film Experience, and is produced by Michael Lange, whose own short film "Intervention" is currently touring the film festival circuit after premiering in 2007 with screenings in both Austin and San Antonio.
CAST:
In addition to Lange and Weeks, the film also stars Candice Mantooth, Andrea Trisdale, and Laura Evans.
