Like most people, John first started taking photos after his first child was born. In the early days he was just taking snapshots of the cute moments of childhood. After a while, he started becoming fascinated with the difference in how the human eye sees versus how the camera sees. John started attending photo workshops, reading books and really trying to become a better photographer. In the end his hard work paid off. In 2019 he was awarded Image of the Year by the NCCC and made the PFLI ALL-STAR TEAM. He loves how a photograph freezes a moment in time.
