Experimental Test

São Paulo, 27/06/2025 - Blending art, neuroscience, and expanded states of consciousness, artist and researcher Luiza Jesus do Prado (also known as Hifa Cybe) introduces a groundbreaking project exploring the visual and sensory effects of psilocybin - a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms - as a therapeutic and aesthetic tool.

This project investigates how curated visual and auditory stimuli, combined with introspective psilocybin experiences, can enhance processes of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and sensory expansion. It merges experimental practices such as psychovisual projections, chromatic ambiences, spatial sound design, and biomedical elements to create immersive environments that support altered states with therapeutic intent.

"This is not about recreational use. It's about crafting an aesthetic and perceptual field that can support, contain, and expand the subjective journey of someone undergoing a therapeutic experience," says Luiza.

Drawing inspiration from recent studies at institutions like Imperial College London and Johns Hopkins University, the artist proposes a unique language that bridges digital art, neurostimulation, and ancestral knowledge - aiming to build safe, ethical, and integrative psychedelic experiences.

The project is aimed at researchers, mental health professionals, artists, psychonauts, and those interested in the intersections of science, spirituality, and sensory technology. It will also be documented in immersive 3D sound and video, with plans to be part of future exhibitions, artist residencies, or experimental clinics.
