Romanian Startup SportIn Mobilizes 300 Entrepreneurs Worldwide in a Global March to Promote Sports
In a country where statistics on obesity and lack of physical activity are alarming, a Romanian startup is achieving the impossible: mobilizing 300 entrepreneurs from around the world to take millions of steps in the name of sports and balance. After a successful first edition of the "Steps of an Entrepreneur" challenge, which brought together over 100 Romanian entrepreneurs, SportIn is now preparing for a second edition with a much bigger mission.
On July 7, 2025, entrepreneurs from over 10 countries will simultaneously begin a global march for balance, tracked by a dedicated mobile app - Challenges by SportIn - which will record their steps, provide live rankings, daily motivation, and active networking opportunities.
This is not a traditional sports competition. It's a statement. A clear positioning of leaders who believe in balance, mental clarity, and self-care as pillars of long-term performance.
Among the entrepreneurs who have already joined are Lorand Soares Szasz, Sebastian Dobrincu, Adina Buzatu, Paul Nicolau, as well as founders and CEOs from Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Canada, Germany, Sweden, and Dubai.
"Now, with the second edition, Steps of an Entrepreneur is no longer just an event. It's becoming a movement. A community defined not by numbers or appearances, but by shared human values. And sport - something so simple, yet incredibly powerful - is what brought us together." - Adrian Pantir, CEO SportIn.
For 2026, SportIn aims to mobilize over 1,000 entrepreneurs worldwide in this mission, with a clear objective: to directly impact the alarming statistics showing that 6 out of 10 entrepreneurs experience burnout or depression in their early years of business.
Free and open to all who accept the challenge, the initiative brings forward a new kind of leadership - one built through personal discipline, energy, and the will to push your limits every day.
The most active participants will be celebrated during the Steps of an Entrepreneur Awards Gala, supported by Tudor Personal Tailor and Mianda Travel, alongside other strategic partners: Upriserz, Spiky.ai.
"We carefully choose our partners and work only with the people behind the brands who share our values. Tudor Personal Tailor and Mianda Travel are prestigious partners who honor us with their presence at this edition, sharing the belief that true success is built on discipline, elegance, and self-care." - Mihaela Pantir, Co-founder SportIn
In a digital ecosystem oversaturated with ads and messages that go unnoticed, people no longer respond to simple "clicks." They respond to authentic emotions, to a sense of pride, and to real connection.
SportIn taps directly into these emotions to turn brands into living, memorable movements with impact.
By borrowing the spirit of professional sports, the app doesn't just count steps - it delivers emotion, belonging, and motivation. We take the experience beyond screens, connecting people and building genuine communities.
