INDIANAPOLIS, IN — To finance or not to finance. That is the question faced by thousands of small to medium-sized businesses across America. One Indianapolis-based business consultancy is working hard to help businesses answer that question in terms they can understand and apply, with an internet-based course about business credit that lays firm groundwork for understanding the business crediting process.

“Our company helps unite small to medium sized business with qualified lenders and financers. But if it were that simple, we wouldn’t have designed an on-line course to help prepare our clients for the challenges which lie ahead,” said John Eubanks, President of Liberty Business Services, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. “We’ve designed a course that helps to demystify the process of establishing and acquiring business credit.”

Liberty Business Services, Inc. launched the on-line course early this year, primarily as a low-cost way for businesses to systematically understand each vital step and concept required for the establishment of business credit. Participants can choose from a completely self-directed course, a course that includes scheduled interaction and access to the company principals, or a course offering that provides a six-month intensive consulting engagement.

“Obviously, we wanted to create a lead-generator for the services we provide—wholesale assistance with finding, applying for and securing business credit,” added company CEO Scott Wright. “But our experience has taught us that there are a series of critical benchmarks that small and medium sized businesses often don’t understand—from business structure and compliance issues, to separate business credit bureaus, to understanding different lines of credit available to them.”

Eubanks and Wright assert that the course by itself, called The Gurus’ Guide To Building Business Credit Smart And Fast, gives virtually any business a significant “leg up” on the business credit process, providing a level of direct, honest explanation that taken alone, can help a business better prepare for credit applications and acquisitions.

“That’s the win-win of the course, no matter which option a business signs up for. Our financing connections are broad and deep—but the course will tell a business, simply and quickly, what it needs to know, and to do, to acquire needed financing or credit,” Eubanks added. “So while our company can be of great benefit after taking the course—using our consultant expertise is not a requirement.”
