Indiana Precision Grinding Awarded Nadap Certification
Indianapolis—Indiana Precision Grinding (IPG), as specialists in finishing aerospace parts, are proud to announce their latest credential as a Nadcap-certified shop. After a long and intense auditing process, this certification represents Indiana Precision Grinding’s commitment to quality, which has now been recognized by the aerospace industry itself.Organizations can be Nadcap certified in a number of areas and processes; IPG’s certification demonstrates that they have met the standards specifically for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Nital Etching—which uses a specialized process to quickly and easily identify burns or other structural issues within the workpiece.
Indiana Precision Grinding CEO Matt Cox says, “Our Nadcap-certified Nital Etch Inspection process proves that IPG is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality to all of our customers. IPG is committed to partnering with our customers for their success, and our Nadcap process is a next-level move in doing so.”
In earning this certification, IPG adds Nadcap to its catalog of licenses including AD9100, ISO9001, and those distributed by Rolls-Royce, Bell Helicopter, and SAI Global.
