Alexander studied classical piano and composition at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. "This music is my attempt to describe deep meditative states not losing sight of my classical roots," says Sussman, whose extensive experience and years of composing orchestral arrangements have shaped his unique sound. Drawing on his expertise, he crafts the album's layered, electronic ensemble with the precision of a conductor guiding a symphony.
Standout tracks include "Hope," also released as a single, and "Lullaby," a soothing yet subtly unsettling piece. The compositions on the album all work together to exemplify the album's ability to create moments of peace and wonder.
