Technical requirements for high acceleration life test (HALT) and high acceleration stress screening (HASS)(HALT & HASS Chamber)
1.The environmental stress applied in the HALT test varies in an increasing form. The test process is to trigger various latent defects in the product design by applying continuously increasing stress until the product reaches its failure limit.2. HALT testing is carried out beyond the specified limits and has a very high testing efficiency.
3. The failure modes that occur during the HALT process are triggered under environmental stresses far exceeding the design specifications. However, these failure modes are all failure forms that occur in actual field use; otherwise, the HALT test would be invalid.
Temperature, humidity and mechanical stress
Temperature range: -170°C (liquid nitrogen assisted) to +200°C (silicon carbide rod heating), temperature variation rate ≥70°C/min (HALT) and ≥50°C/min (HASS), supports multi-stress synchronous loading (temperature + humidity + six-axis vibration).
Vibration magnitude: HALT should cover random vibrations of 30 to 100 GRMS (10 to 5000Hz), and during the HASS screening stage, it should be optimized to 20 to 60Grms to avoid overstress damage.
Composite stress
Electrical stress injection: Integrated 0~1000V DC power supply, simulating the voltage fluctuation of the equipment under extreme temperature and vibration environments (transient interference test of on-board ECU power supply).
Pneumatic coupling: Optional vacuum (10−2Pa) or high-pressure (2MPa) modules for high-altitude pressure loss of aerospace devices and high-pressure verification of deep-sea equipment. If you need more information about the models of our testing equipment.
