ALANOD appointed Milan W. Krumbe as CEO

ALANOD, the global surface solutions provider headquartered in Ennepetal, Germany, appointed Milan W. Krumbe as the sole managing director and CEO of the ALANOD Group. Since April 1, 2025, he has been responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction of the company.

He has a long and successful career, having worked for leading global companies in the specialty chemicals and advanced materials industry in roles including research, marketing, sales, and strategy. From January 1, 2024, he initially served as Chief Commercial Officer and established the companies in Shanghai (China) and Pune (India).

Krumbe spoke about Alanod's future direction in global business: "Our vision is to be an advanced company which develops innovative high-tech surfaces and makes a positive contribution to the circular economy. Our customer-centric approach will enable us to generate sustainable growth along the entire value chain together with our customers."

Furthermore, he sees opportunities for the company in the megatrends: "We will strengthen innovation and sustainability and particularly expand our expertise in coating technology. Additionally, Alanod will drive solutions for the megatrends of urbanization, mobility, energy, ecology, and globalization. As a global corporate group, we will leverage global market opportunities and thus generate significant added value and new impulses for our customers."

The new approach can be seen on the freshly updated website of Alanod. It is customer-focused and shows the various application fields the surface solutions are already applied to globally.

Milan W. Krumbe holds a degree in chemistry from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and an MBA from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, Netherlands.
