ALANOD appointed Milan W. Krumbe as CEO

ALANOD, the global surface solutions provider headquartered in Ennepetal, Germany, appointed Milan W. Krumbe as the sole managing director and CEO of the ALANOD Group. Since April 1, 2025, he has take over the responsibility for the overall operational and strategic direction of the company.

He already has a long and successful career, having worked for leading global companies in the specialty chemicals and advanced materials industry in roles including research, marketing, sales, and strategy. From January 1, 2024, he initially served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and established new ALANOD companies in Shanghai (China) and Pune (India).

Milan W. Krumbe described the future orientation of the company: “Our vision is to be an advanced materials company that develops innovative high-tech surfaces and makes a positive contribution to the circular economy. Our customer-centric approach will enable us to generate sustainable growth along the entire value chain together with our customers.”

Additionally, Krumbe pointed out that megatrends have the power to create new opportunities for ALANOD's and their customers' business: "We will strengthen innovation and sustainability, particularly expanding our competencies in the field of coating technology and advance our solutions for the megatrends of urbanization, mobility, energy, ecology and globalization. As a global corporate group we will seize global market opportunities, generating significant added value and new impulses for our customers."

Milan W. Krumbe holds a degree in chemistry from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and an MBA from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, Netherlands.
