Z-Wave Europe named as one of the Growth Champions 2017

Hohenstein-Ernstthal, December 15th, 2016 – According to a study by the German news magazine Focus, Z-Wave Europe GmbH, the leading European distributor for Z-Wave based smart home products, belongs to the fastest growing companies in Germany.

In cooperation with the statistics company Statista, the news magazine Focus has identified in total 500 companies, which achieved a particularly high percentage of sales growth between 2012 and 2015. This includes both private-owned companies and listed companies.

With an average sales growth of 80% per year, Z-Wave Europe is ranked among the top 10 of the fastest growing IT companies in Germany. Thereby the company is represented for the second time in a row. In addition, Z-Wave Europe ranks overall 80th position of all German growth champions. Managing Director Mike Lange: "We are proud that we are again one of the fastest growing IT companies. Smart Home is a young market that is gaining more and more attention and is therefore also becoming more competitive as well. It is an even greater honor if you can assert yourself as a relatively small company."

All 500 companies that have made it to the Focus list – including well-known names like Zalando or Rocket Internet – receive the "Growth Champion 2017" award. The honored companies will be presented in a 162-page Focus special.

Z-Wave Europe based in Hohenstein-Ernstthal pioneered in importing the first Z-Wave products to Europe as a Value Added Reseller in 2008. Since then Z-Wave Europe has been the leading Value Added Distributor for Z-Wave based wireless home automation controls facing high and steady growth in its business. In close cooperation with the Z-Wave Alliance (www.zwavealliance.org), Z-Wave Europe promotes the dissemination of Z-Wave technology as the largest existing ecosystem for wireless home automation.
