Insightix Appoints Amos Inbar as CEO
Technology Veteran to Lead the Company and Drive Global Expansion and Business Development ActivitiesPearl River, NY (March 11, 2008) – Insightix, the developer of IT visibility and network access control (NAC) software, today announced that Amos Inbar has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Amos was an angel investor in the early financing rounds of the company and has served on Insightix’s Board of Directors since the company’s inception. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Insightix, Amos served as a Corporate Vice President at ECI Telecom. He also previously held the positions of Vice President for Strategic Business at Amdocs and was CEO of the Voice Services Platform division at Comverse.

Insightix’s network access control software – Insightix NAC – outperforms other NAC products by delivering complete and real-time network access control, ensuring that only authorized and compliant devices are allowed to access and operate on the network. Insightix NAC utilizes the company’s patent-pending Stateful Network Detection technology, which generates and maintains in a real-time “state” of all devices connected to the network. The deployment of Insightix NAC requires no software agents, switch integration, specialized software or hardware replacement.
Insightix was also recently recognized by The 451 Group for its outside-of-the-box approach to network access control. The independent analyst firm cited in its report titled “Network Access Control: 2008 is a Do-or-Die Year” that Insightix is strongly positioned for its ability to deliver full network coverage and easy deployment.
