Jessica Lee (TJM Images) Unveils the Journey from Canada to Hollywood: The Rise of a Sports and Entertainment Photographer
What started as a passion for photography in Canada has turned into an unexpected dream career in Los Angeles for Jessica Lee. Now a sought-after photographer in the sports, music and live entertainment industry, she has captured some of the most iconic moments at events like the GRAMMY Awards, The Emmy Awards, Rose Bowl Game, Los Angeles Lakers, while working with some of the biggest names in the business.
"When I first moved to L.A., I never imagined I'd be photographing stars like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga," she admits. "But as the years went on, the opportunities kept growing, and it all just snowballed."
Most recently, she found herself rink-side for the NHL, capturing none other than Justin Bieber in action at a charity hockey game-just another surreal moment in an everyday career.
What's Next? Capturing Legends and Global Events
With an already impressive portfolio, Jessica shows no signs of slowing down. Next on her horizon are some of the biggest projects of her career, with principal photography efforts covering legendary rock bands AC/DC and Oasis at their sold out stadium concerts.
Beyond the music world, she is also stepping onto the global sports stage, gearing up to photograph six FIFA soccer matches and the highly anticipated LA28 Summer Olympics. "Being able to document these historic moments is an honor," she says. "It's not just about the action-it's about the emotion, the fans and the storytelling that will leave a legacy that lives on through these images."
