About the Author
Michael J. Cooper is an award-winning historical fiction author, a graduate of Tel Aviv University Medical School, and a pediatric cardiologist who has dedicated his career to serving children, including on volunteer medical missions for Palestinian children in need of care. Having emigrated to Israel in 1966, he lived in Jerusalem during its division between Israel and Jordan, and remained in Israel for another decade shaping his deep connection to the region's history.
His previous works include:
• Foxes in the Vineyard - Winner of the 2011 Indie Publishing Contest Grand Prize, set in 1948 Jerusalem
• The Rabbi's Knight - A historical adventure set in the Holy Land at the twilight of the Crusades in 1290
