March 1, 2008-- Recent changes to IRA laws, including some crucial changes made when The Pension Protection Act was signed into law August 17, 2006 will be explained at an educational dinner meeting on Tuesday, March l8, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at The Daily Grill Restaurant. The restaurant is located at 2501 Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica.Discussion topics will include: how to avoid having IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or 457 retirement nest eggs taxed to death, steps needed to make sure spouses will have enough income and be taken care of should they lose their husband or wife, three ways to guarantee income that will last for an entire lifetime, and how to set up a “game plan” to avoid the expensive and rising cost of health care.
The event speaker will be J.F. Ranhofer, a veteran financial advisor and well-known radio host. He has hosted his own radio show on KGIL, and KKLA, and is a frequent contributor on KRLA and KABC radio.
