Crocs donates 500 pairs of shoes to youth in Los Angeles with Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters
Crocs, Inc and its brands partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters to empower youth - future game changers.
Youth and their mentors in attendance at the event on Saturday, February 22 at the Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters' office in Los Angeles, Pico/Union area, received a pair of free Crocs shoes. Attendees decorated their Crocs with customized Big Brothers Big Sisters "Jibbitz", in partnership with Studio 1313, led by (Big Brother) Vittorio Maalouf.
Crocs, Inc. and its brands partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to empower young people with skills, mentoring, and support. Crocs is giving the gift of comfort to the youth in the Los Angeles community. About 10,000 pairs of shoes have been distributed to Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the national network.
Events like these uphold spaces for mentees and mentors to come together to expand their creative skills, share a special moment together and leave with something tangible to remind them of their experience.
Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters cultivates safe spaces for mentors and mentees to engage with each other and express themselves creatively as their mentoring relationship develops. The event puts a spotlight on redefining the little moments of mentorship that can make a big impact on the lives of young people.

Since 1925, Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles County (CBBBS) has provided youth with screened, professionally supported Big Brother and Big Sister mentors. Big Brothers and Big Sisters are volunteers that serve as additional role models in the lives of children from under-served neighborhoods in Los Angeles County.
