Leadership Transition at Miebach Consulting Germany: Frank Sonnefeld Appointed COO, Succeeding Dr. Wolfram Süssenguth

After more than 30 years of leadership and driving business growth, Dr. Wolfram Süssenguth, COO of Miebach Consulting Germany, is set to retire at the end of this year. The reins will be passed to Frank Sonnefeld, who brings a wealth of expertise to the position. Additionally, Julian Maasmann will step into Sonnefeld's previous role as Head of the Business Unit "Process Industry" starting January 2025.

Frank Sonnefeld: Charting the Future as New COO
Frank Sonnefeld, a sophisticated Miebach leader, has been appointed COO of Miebach Consulting GmbH. Joining the company in 2000, Sonnefeld has held various leadership positions, including Head of "Detail Planning & Realization" and, since 2020, Head of the "Business Unit Process Industry."

Dr. Wolfram Süssenguth: A Remarkable Legacy
Dr. Wolfram Süssenguth's tenure has been transformative for Miebach Consulting. Since joining the company in 1992, he spearheaded the expansion of offices in Berlin and Munich and introduced groundbreaking services in production logistics, logistics engineering, and intralogistics. In 1995, he assumed a pivotal role as Managing Director, driving Miebach Germany to its position as a leader in supply chain consulting.

Looking ahead to the next generation of leadership at Miebach, the succession for Frank Sonnefeld's role as Head of the Business Unit Process Industry has also been decided. Julian Maasmann, Head of Industry Consumer Goods, brings valuable international leadership experience from his time as General Manager of Miebach UAE. Starting in January, he will take on responsibility for this Business Unit.
