He holds a Bachelor's Degree in History, with a Minor in Urban Education, from Rutgers University in Newark, alongside having completed the Urban Teacher Education Program, which highlights his commitment to education and public service.

Most recently, Diaz completed an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration, where he achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, focusing on Non-Profit and Public Performance Management.
