Press release from: Cocoon House

EVERETT, WA: Cocoon House is proud to have been selected as a Team of Champions powered by Boeing this season, a program created with the Seahawks to provide an unforgettable experience for community organizations.

"We are so honored to be recognized by the Seahawks Team of Champions powered by Boeing!" said Joseph Alonzo, CEO of Cocoon House. "Cocoon House and the local community have a rich history of working together in partnership to break the cycle of homelessness for teens and young people in Snohomish County. Having the support of the Seahawks organization and The Boeing Company to advance our mission and increase our impact with young people is powerful and inspiring."

On August 29, 2024 Cocoon House was visited by Seahawks Local Legend Marcus Trufant, who spent time with the young people Cocoon House serves.

"I am truly honored to be a part of the Team of Champions program and to witness the incredible work that Cocoon House is doing for our youth in Snohomish County," said Seahawks Legend Marcus Trufant. "I believe in the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together. I'll be cheering on the Cocoon House team as they help others achieve a brighter future."

The Team of Champions program culminated with a special game day experience on November 3, where Cocoon House staff and youth attended the Seahawks home game against the Los Angeles Rams, and was spotlighted in a special halftime recognition.
