Package Central for InDesign Now Supports Creative Cloud 2025

Originally created at a request of a major publisher in the United States, the software automates the InDesign file packaging by seamlessly handling projects from designated hot folders. The software offloads file collection to a central system leaving operator workstations free from the document packaging process.

The new version makes Package Central compatible with the recently released InDesign 2025 featured as part of Adobe Creative Cloud. The update is offered free of charge to Package Central users. In addition, the update fixes an issue where zero-sized InDesign files could be submitted for processing before being fully copied into a hot folder as well as resolves rare processing errors on macOS Sequoia.
Package Central caters to an unlimited user base on a network and is designed to tackle the complex demands of centralized packaging and archiving in collaborative workgroup environments. From prepress operators to production artists and designers, the software streamlines their workflow by allowing easy InDesign file submission to watched hot folders [https://zevrix.com/packagecentral] located on the network. Package Central autonomously collects InDesign files, along with their accompanying image links and fonts, directing them to a user-defined destination folder set within the hot folder configuration.
Operating on a dedicated Mac workstation, Package Central monitors hot folders for incoming InDesign files, executing all tasks automatically without requiring constant supervision.
