Vampires in BC follows Jude, a partial vampire who is caught between his newly discovered supernatural powers and his lingering human emotions. Enthralled by the sensation of flying and the thrill of shape-shifting, Jude embraces the vampire lifestyle, relishing the vitality he gains from consuming blood. But as he begins to question the price of immortality and what he has left behind in his former human life, Jude faces a deeper internal conflict: Can he truly reconcile his vampire desires with the remnants of his human soul?
About the Author
Keith Costelloe, a Canadian writer with a unique international perspective, has lived and worked as a teacher across North Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. He holds a bachelor's degree in Drama and a master's degree in Applied Linguistics. Now retired and residing in Western Canada, Costelloe brings a rich understanding of diverse cultures to his writing, which informs the depth and complexity of his characters and narratives.
Vampires in BC is his third novel, following the success of Drawn into Danger , which won both the Literary Titan Silver Book Award and the Book Fest Silver Award in 2024 for its mastery of complex themes and its powerful and fluent storytelling.
