Chinese-American New Generation Digital Communication Platform Actively Launches Public Welfare Courses on Chinese Culture

Since its establishment by Communication Brain Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., the Chinese-American New Generation Digital Communication Platform has successfully hosted ten cultural learning and exchange activities through offline courses and online live streams. Chinese students and international students from various countries and regions, including the United States, Italy, Canada, the Philippines, and Singapore, have participated in these events.

Teachers and experts from different schools in Zhejiang Province have delivered engaging courses for students interested in Chinese culture, such as "Encounters with Beautiful China for International Students," "The Charm of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage: Paper-Cutting Art," "The Charm of Chinese Calligraphy," "New Year's Intangible Cultural Heritage Tour," and "Leaf Carving." For instance, in the course "The Charm of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage: Paper-Cutting Art," paper-cutting master Fang Yalei introduced the history, development, and categories of the folk art of paper-cutting to 45 international students from the UK and Italy, discussing how it has integrated with modern fashion design.

Moreover, students had the opportunity to practice basic paper-cutting techniques in class, such as "symmetrical folding and cutting," "triangular folding and cutting," and "group flower cutting," enjoying the experience of hands-on DIY. After the class, many students expressed their appreciation, stating, "It was amazing; this lesson gave me a new understanding of traditional Chinese art."

This series of activities has transcended geographic boundaries, providing Chinese students with opportunities to communicate, learn, and appreciate Chinese culture, thereby promoting its dissemination.
