Press release from: Action Logistics Group

/ PR Agency: Image Line Communications
London, 5 February 2008 – Air Action, an independently owned British international distribution company with full-time courier, freight and logistics services, is a getting a major face-lift this week. On 5 February at the Logistics South Show in Surrey, Air Action is set to officially re-launch itself under the new, more befitting, name of Action Logistics Group.

After being purchased a little over a year ago, Air Action made the unified decision to effectively re-brand itself to better reflect the company’s all-inclusive approach to distribution services. Catering for sea and road shipments, as well as air, the Action Logistics Group is moving forward with a variety of improved services, including a brand new courier software system that was specifically designed for them in partnership with Courier Systems.

Action Logistics Group specially designed courier software offers clients their own unique brand web interface. The improved courier software system allows clients to fully manage their accounts online. Clients can now take advantage of tailored features such as the ability to book, track, trace, manage stock levels and distribution. In addition, clients using the software can effectively monitor routings on international consignments. No other operating international distribution group offers courier software services of this calibre and sophistication.

Action Logistics Group revitalised structure, new name and image now more accurately reflects the company’s overall dedication to it’s three primary distribution service areas, chiefly: logistics, freight and courier services. The company has also undergone a slight reorganisation at the corporate level as well. To better represent the overall functions of the company, Action Logistics Group now consists of one-of-a-kind business units. These units are headed by dedicated General Managers. Route Development Managers have also been incorporated into the structure to provide maximized routing services for clients.
