Feature Film 'LIAR' by Tay Jade Barrientos Is Officially Nominated for BEST FEATURE FILM 2024 in the International SF3 Film Festival 10th Edition

Just after making her official Directorial and Acting Debut, the Feature Film LIAR, directed by Tay Jade Barrientos has been selected as a finalist for the International SF3 Film Festival and has been selected to be screened in the SF3 Live Premiere, with only ONE other film also being chosen to screen.
Directing aside, Tay Jade Barrientos took on the role as the Lead Actress, Mackenzie Belmonte where she showcases her incredible range in acting alongside her supporting actors, Hayley Christine (Harmony Love) and Bailey Christopher (Donovan Love) who have taken LIAR to another level with their own skills and talents.

With a unique filming style, LIAR takes us through the story of teenage girl Mackenzie
(Portrayed by Tay Jade Barrientos) who faces the trauma of losing her brother to a car accident.
Now working at a friendship service, Mackenzie gets the opportunity to help two siblings who survived a car accident, but begins to get suspicious when she realises that there may be more to the story of their accident than they are telling her.
"I think what I love most about LIAR is that there's never a scene where you fully know what's happening, there's always a question that you have." Barrientos says.
Tay Jade Barrientos states that her passion for film grew through her involvement in a church project called 'INCINEMA' where she was able to direct a film with her fellow Church members at the age of 16. She mentions that her next project will be a film for Church and that she's excited to take what she's learned from directing LIAR, into creating new projects to share her faith.

"Working with Tay was crazy, we laughed a lot and enjoyed every part of it; we had the best time and her giving (me) this experience is something I'm grateful for and so thankful (for)." Bailey Christopher (Donovan Love) says. "She's the nicest person I know and is so generous."
"Working on set was such a surreal experience, I was so nervous but so excited at the same time - Tay made it such a welcoming atmosphere and that really helped," Hayley Christine (Harmony Love) mentions.

In the meantime leading up to the Official World Premiere for LIAR on November 17, Tay Jade Barrientos is currently undergoing studies at an Australian University where she is studying Criminology and Psychology.
"It was definitely so stressful having to handle filming, editing, studying and church at the same time but at the end it was all so worth it so I'm really grateful that that was the stress that I had," Tay Jade Barrientos says. "I lowkey feel a lot of pressure for the next film but I'm so grateful to get to feel it because I know that means I've lifted my standards for myself up so much more."
Tay Jade Barrientos is expected to be a breakthrough Filmmaker in the industry, especially considering her outstanding credits where she showcases talent and skill in all departments of film, music and the creative industry as a whole.
