Press release from: Bow Tie Strategies

Ferraiolo Fitness has been a dominant force in Loudoun County’s fitness industry for over ten years for one very good reason. Big box gyms represent a significant investment when factoring in personal training services. These venues can be quite intimidating. The space is crowded with loud and overly aggressive weight lifters who consider it their space with novice newcomers in the way. Personal training services are over sold, under delivered with fees that are tied to deceptive and restrictive contracts. The Ferraiolo Fitness environment is smart, professional, friendly and welcoming. The newcomer along with established fitness enthusiasts are met with excitement and encouragement to support this very important effort. The quality, no pressure fitness training that Ferraiolo Fitness offers to residents in Loudoun County is the perfect combination for anyone – from the novice gym goer to the person reentering the gym after an extended hiatus or the experienced athlete that needs specialized help. Opening in mid September, Ferraiolo Fitness will add a fourth location at The Shops at Crescent Place in Historic Downtown Leesburg furthering expanding their no pressure and accommodating footprint.

Ralph Ferraiolo, Owner of Ferraiolo Fitness, has supported the Loudoun County community with his proven award-winning personal training for over a decade. Ferraiolo Fitness began in 2005 when he reinvented himself as a premier personal trainer and launched his first studio, which he designed and built, directly behind his historic Leesburg home. Ralph has enormous insight into the personal training space as a certified member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a certified trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Pilates mat certification. Since Ferraiolo Fitness’s initial opening, his business has significantly expanded to include a studio in the Lansdowne Town Center, an exclusive fitness contract at the Harrison Luxury Apartment Towers at the Reston Town Center and most recently at The Shops at Crescent Place. These expansions have been driven by an ever-expanding client base consisting of dozens of clients that stay on for years as a lifestyle choice.

“Our studios are designed to be small and personal with an upscale boutique approach. This is important as it provides a comfortable atmosphere that even the long-term client continues to enjoy visiting. Our approach is centered around the individual needs of the client. People come to me looking for a personal fitness touch. For example, this means effectively working around problem knees, lower back and shoulder conditions in an aggressive way the shows results without exasperating these conditions. Even the more experienced clientele are shown the most effective routines employing proper form that minimizes injury and maximizes results. Many learn a new smarter routine and move on, or even better, choose to stay on indefinitely as a lifestyle... Adding a location at The Shops at Crescent Place was an easy decision. This beautiful back drop with a walkability factor and easy access to the W&OD bike trail compliments the no pressure, accommodating business model that is Ferraiolo Fitness,” said Ferraiolo.

Ferraiolo’s client base has increased significantly due to the quality programs, attractive studio aesthetics, and the best personal trainers in the area. Ferraiolo Fitness operates on a by appointment only private personal training sessions – there are no open gyms. Ralph and his team of high-level trainers promote a healthy lifestyle to its members. Although the average client is 40-50 years old, they cater very successfully to student athletes, 20-40 year olds along with seniors. The trainers create specific programs for the individual’s personal needs and reinforce healthy goals. Couples’ training is one of the more popular programs that Ferraiolo Fitness offers. With almost two-thirds of their clientele as couples, Ferraiolo Fitness can even make relationships stronger!

Ralph has received numerous awards for his quality training, winning Leesburg’s Best Home-Based Business and runner up for Loudoun County’s Best Home-Based Business in 2009; Runner-up for Leesburg Today’s Best Personal Trainer in 2014 and 2015, and most recently being named the Loudoun Times-Mirror #1 Personal Trainer in Loudoun County for 2016. With the new addition of Ferraiolo Fitness at The Shops at Crescent Place this fall, Ralph expects to continue his good work and expand his clientele to those who seek a healthy active lifestyle.

“Ferraiolo Fitness is what builders call an ‘anchor business.’ Ralph has built a well-respected business in Loudoun County and the residents of Crescent Place and Historic Downtown Leesburg will only benefit from Ferraiolo Fitness and their commitment to community. The healthy lifestyle that Ferraiolo promotes is a perfect fit to be right off the W&OD Trail,” said Don Knutson, President, Knutson Companies, one of the builders at the Shops at Crescent Place.
