eRecording Made Simple

eRecording Made Simple

MINNESOTA – January 28, 2008 - Working to provide their mutual customers with industry-leading eRecording services, Utah-based Simplifile and Minnesota-based TriMin Government Solutions today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance for the purpose of integrating and cooperatively marketing Simplifile eRecording Services and TriMin Land Records Suite of products.

The alliance calls for the two companies to continue the seamless integration of their respective eRecording and document recording systems, allowing documents electronically filed by Simplifile “submitter” customers such as title companies, law offices and banks to be received, reviewed, recorded and returned to those same submitters by counties running TriMin’s LightHouse eRecording module. The accord also provides for Simplifile and TriMin to cooperatively market the alliance and resulting services to their mutual customers, including Simplifile submitters and counties running the LightHouse.

“Simplifile has a strong, productive relationship with TriMin Government Solutions, and we are pleased to officially welcome them into our alliance partner program,” said Paul Clifford, President of Simplifile. “TriMin provides industry-leading, turnkey solutions for county government, and we look forward to offering the many advantages of Simplifile eRecording Services—including increased productivity, security and profitability—to those same county recording jurisdictions and to the title agencies, law offices, banks and other submitter customers they serve. Our alliance with TriMin is a significant step forward in Simplifile’s quest to build the premier eRecording network for the real estate industry.”

More than a trend in land record document submission—eRecording is a government priority at federal, state and county levels across the country. eRecording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing, via a secure Internet site, documents for recording that have traditionally been delivered to the county for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service. eRecording offers thousands of submitters nationwide filing documents into eRecording-enabled counties the ability to simplify, accelerate and enhance all aspects of the recording process.

“TriMin is eager to build on its strong relationship with Simplifile by expanding our cooperative eRecording solutions into Minnesota,” said Bill Mori, President of TriMin Government Solutions. “We are already working closely with Simplifile in other states and have found them to be a reliable and trustworthy partner. This expansion will bring our Minnesota customers significantly more submission documents, thereby increasing the return on investment they have made in electronic recording. We are proud to team up with Simplifile to bring this added value to the marketplace.”

Individuals and organizations that do business with Simplifile and TriMin can contact the two companies directly for information on how they can benefit from this strategic alliance.
