eRecording Made Simple

eRecording Made Simple

NEW HAMPSHIRE – May 20, 2008 - In an effort to deliver industry-leading eRecording services to their mutual customers, Utah-based Simplifile, LLC and New Hampshire-based Connor & Connor, Inc. today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance for the purpose of integrating and cooperatively marketing Simplifile’s eRecording and Connor & Connor’s County Registry Indexing Systems.

The alliance calls for the two companies to integrate their respective eRecording and document indexing systems, allowing documents electronically filed by Simplifile “submitter” customers such as law offices, title companies and banks to be received, reviewed, recorded and returned to those same submitters by counties utilizing Connor & Connor’s Indexing System. The accord also provides for Simplifile and Connor & Connor to cooperatively market the alliance and resulting services to their mutual customers, including Simplifile submitters and Connor & Connor-enabled registries in New Hampshire.

“Simplifile is pleased to welcome Connor & Connor to our eRecording partner alliance,” said Paul Clifford, President of Simplifile. “Our relationship with Connor & Connor demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide submitters nationwide with access to the premier eRecording network for the real estate industry. Our approach to constructing that network is to partner with trusted records management vendors like Connor & Connor that serve the 3,600 recording jurisdictions nationwide. Partnering with Connor & Connor enables Simplifile to provide the many advantages of automated recording workflow—including increased productivity, security and profitability—to Connor & Connor-enabled counties and the submitters they serve.”

“Connor & Connor is excited to make Simplifile’s e-recording solution available to New Hampshire County Registries of Deeds,” said Shelley Vincent, President. “When making a decision on eRecording vendors, we were focused on meeting the needs of the registries we serve. Simplifile eRecording Services most closely aligned with our customers’ requirements for a secure, easy-to-use, openly accessible eRecording service. We look forward to working closely with Simplifile to bring the many benefits of eRecording to our mutual customers.”

More than a trend in land record document submission—eRecording is a government priority at federal, state and county levels across the country. eRecording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing, via a secure Internet site, documents for recording that have traditionally been delivered to the county for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service. eRecording offers thousands of submitters nationwide filing documents into eRecording-enabled counties the ability to simplify, accelerate and enhance all aspects of the recording process. To date, submitters nationwide have successfully recorded more than 1.5 million property documents through the Simplifile eRecording Network.

Individuals and organizations that do business with Simplifile and Connor & Connor can contact the two companies directly for information on how they can benefit from this strategic alliance.
