AUSTIN, Texas (September 15, 2016) –Anthropos Arts, a local non-profit organization dedicated to connecting children from at-risk communities with quality music mentorship and education, is hosting their second annual 30x30 Back to School Fundraising Challenge. Anthropos Arts aims to raise $30,000 in the 30 days of September to support their 2016-2017 school year.

“Through this campaign, we hope to ensure an outstanding year for our current and incoming student musicians,” said Leya Samiloglu, executive director of Anthropos Arts. “Donations will help us provide our students with musical instruction and mentorship, which in turn gives them the confidence, integrity, and life skills they need to succeed.”

Anthropos Arts employs local musicians to mentor underserved students in the Austin community. Money raised through this campaign will help provide students with music lessons, supplies, master classes, instruments, and more.

This year, Anthropos Arts has partnered with BetterUnite to utilize their crowdfunding platform. Contributors can donate and choose from a variety of offers ranging from music lessons, studio recording time at legendary Chez Boom Studio and even stage time with Anthropos students during an upcoming performance.

The 30x30 Back to School Fundraising Challenge has raised over $9,305 to date. Those interested in donating can do so here.

Anthropos Arts is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. All donations are eligible for tax deductions, and donors will receive a tax receipt.
