In December 2015, China has started construction of the fifth nuclear power unit of the TNPP.
As reported, currently ROSATOM State Corporation is building unit № 3 and 4 at TNPP. In 2016 ASE group is planning to complete construction and assembling operations works and start a "cold" roll off trailers of equipment of the third unit. The first fuel loading in power unit № 3 of TNPP planned for late August 2017. Commissioning of nuclear power unit № 3 scheduled for February 2018, and unit № 4 for December 2018.
Russian Federation has put into operation the first stage of TNPP (1st and 2nd units). It is also discusses the possible construction of four more units.
