Yi Fu, an alumna of the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Fashion Institute of Technology, has garnered attention for her unique approach to illustration. With a background in book arts, ceramics, papermaking, and frame-by-frame animation, she has developed a distinctive style that captures the beauty of everyday life, often featuring girls and dreamlike landscapes. Her work resonates with audiences worldwide, as evidenced by her substantial following of 200,000 on social media.

In "Dreamscape," Yi Fu delves into the subconscious with a series of narrative-driven pieces featuring young boys, girls, and rabbits-a recurring motif in her work. The rabbits, symbolic of Yi Fu's innocent yet insightful view of the world, serve as guides through these dreamlike stories. Each piece in the exhibition is brought to life through the medium of tufting, chosen for its softness and the way it mirrors the gentle nature of dreams. The result is a collection of artworks that invite viewers to not only see but also feel the texture and warmth of Yi Fu's dreamscapes.

"Dreams are soft, and yarn shares this softness in both color and texture," Yi Fu explains. "Tufting allows me to translate my illustrations into something tangible and textured, bringing my dream-inspired works to life in a way that viewers can touch and experience intimately."
