Succession plan for reasons of age: DAXBERGER-SCHWALL leaves. RUDERER takes over.

After 20 successful years, the family business Daxberger-Schwall, based in Baden-Württemberg, is closing for reasons of age. The two owners, Roland Schwall and Brigitte Daxberger-Schwall, retired on June 30, 2024. The company offered processors of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP), vehicle manufacturers and manufacturers of special vehicles everything they needed for production.

From abrasives and diamond tools to cleaning and care products. Among other things, Daxberger-Schwall acted as a dealer for the high-quality adhesives and sealants of the internationally active adhesive manufacturer Kömmerling. The entire Kömmerling portfolio, including the customer base, was transferred to RUDERER KLEBETECHNIK GmbH on July 1, 2024 to ensure that long-standing regular customers continue to feel that they are in good hands in the future.

When choosing his successor, Daxberger-Schwall relied on the decades of experience, excellent customer service, technical advice and fast and reliable delivery of the adhesives expert. RUDERER aims to fully satisfy its customers and find the best adhesive solution for even the most demanding requirements. A service mentality that Daxberger-Schwall has also put its heart and soul into to the very end. Thanks to the smooth handover, customers from industry and trade now benefit not only from Kömmerling adhesives but also from many other high-performance adhesives from well-known manufacturers as well as comprehensive advice.

Brigitte Daxberger-Schwall and Roland Schwall have made the start of their retirement on June 30, 2024 easier by ensuring a well-thought-out succession of their successful family business Daxberger-Schwall. On July 1, 2024, RUDERER KLEBETECHNIK took over the portfolio of adhesives and sealants from adhesive manufacturer Kömmerling as well as the associated customers. This smooth takeover ensures that customers will continue to benefit from excellent customer service in the future. These include vehicle manufacturers, manufacturers of trailers, containers, box bodies, sandwich elements, mobile homes and special vehicles such as fire engines, beer and sales vans or expedition vehicles.

The ideal successor

Kömmerling Chemische Fabrik GmbH, headquartered in Pirmasens in the southwest Palatinate, has been developing and selling high-performance adhesives and sealants for over 100 years. In 1969, it was the first company to introduce a primerless two-component sealing system.
