New Delhi, January 24, 2008: The Indo-German Software Competence Network (InDeSCoN), a network of German and Indian software companies will host the German IT Round Table 2008 for IT Companies from Germany and India. The German IT Round-Table, an annual event, is aimed at providing Indian and German software SME companies a high-level networking platform in Germany for pursuing partnerships and cooperation.

The IT Round Table will be an excellent event developed specifically to cater the needs of German & Indian SME IT companies' needs and covers all aspects of the IT industry including policy, technology and business trends. The event will also include a comprehensive presentation programme with a host of free seminar sessions and a panel session covering the cutting-edge global IT industry topics. This event will be beneficial for both German companies, who are looking IT sourcing as a alternative and for Indian IT SME's who are aiming to expand sales into Europe.

German IT Round-Table will be held on 3rd March 2008 in Rathus, Stuttart, Germany and is supported by BWCON, MFG, IHK (German Chamber of Commerce), NASSCOM and a number of private partners.

The 4 technical focus areas covered are e-commerce & business applications, outsourced product development, engineering services and embedded software.

According to Mr. Ashant Chalasani, Founder & President of InDeSCoN, "The German software market is largely untapped by Indian SME's. Only 4% of software imports to Germany are from India. This event is ideal for striking partnerships with German IT companies and together delivering value in Europe. Indian IT SME's should capitalize on high interest levels on global IT sourcing in Germany."
