Ventura Fire Foundation Announces Open Registration for 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

The stair climb is a challenging yet rewarding event designed to honor the brave first responders who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Participants will climb the equivalent of 110 stories - mirroring the height of the World Trade Center towers - as a symbol of solidarity and remembrance.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ventura Fire Foundation's mental wellness programs, providing crucial support to local firefighter families.
"We invite all first responders, as well as members of the public, to join us in honoring the fallen heroes of 9/11," said Joe Booth, executive director of the Ventura Fire Foundation. "By participating in the stair climb, you are not only paying tribute to their sacrifice but also helping to support the mental well-being of our local fire families."
The Ventura Fire Foundation encourages individuals and teams from fire and police departments, as well as members of the public, to participate. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or simply looking for a meaningful way to give back, there is a place for everyone in this event.
