Electronic City is strategically located on NH-7 Connecting Bangalore and Chennai. The locality is just 20 km away from the C.B.D, about 53 km away from the Kempegowda International Airport. Infrastructure will play a vital role in the development of Electronic City. The 11 Km long two-lane elevated highway significantly reduced travel time from silk board to Electronic City. Other major projects in the locality are Metro Phase III and Cauvery Water Phase II, stage 4. Metro phase II will reduce the time for people commuting to Electronic City. Development of Malls and Commercial space will lead to the overall residential demand in the area. A significant area between Whitefield and Electronic City is proposed to be developed as High Tech Zone with great potential Zone for urbanization.
