Seraph Announces 6 Winners of the 2024 Operational Excellence Awards and Manufacturing Leadership Program
Seraph's second annual Operational Excellence Awards.

• Logistics Excellence Award: ZF - Tuscaloosa, Alabama
• Operations Excellence Award: Yazaki - Chihuahua, Mexico
• Human Resources Excellence Award: Coastal Automotive - Holland, Michigan
• Quality Excellence Award: Cooper Standard - Aguascalientes, Mexico
The awards ceremony, held on June 6, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan honored the winners for exceptional achievements in their respective categories. The event was attended by over 150 automotive industry leaders at suppliers, OEMs and affiliates.
"We congratulate all the winners of the 2024 Operational Excellence Awards," said Ambrose Conroy, CEO of Seraph. "These inspiring organizations have shown remarkable dedication and commitment to operational excellence, setting the bar high for their industry peers. Through their innovative approaches and relentless pursuit of greatness, they have demonstrated that operational excellence is not only a goal but a fundamental aspect of their business strategy."
The winners of the Seraph Operational Excellence Awards were chosen through a comprehensive process designed to assess and evaluate performance across key operational areas. Candidates underwent an online assessment, which scored their logistics, operations, human resources, and quality practices. The top-scoring plants received a one-day complimentary onsite assessment from the Seraph team, gaining first-hand knowledge of their operational strategies, practices, and culture.
In attendance at the award ceremony, were the 4 students selected for the Manufacturing Excellence Leadership Program from major universities. This program was created as an extension of the Operational Excellence Awards to inspire students who are pursuing fields within manufacturing to explore the automotive industry and what it has to offer.
Eligibility was based on an essay and case study demonstrating interest as well as past achievements. Each student received:
• An all-expense paid trip to one of the on-site plant assessments for the Operational Excellence Awards.
• $1000 scholarship.
• A ticket to the Operational Excellence Awards ceremony to network with industry guests.
• A one-on-one discussion with Seraph's senior leadership regarding their career path.
