To bring BIG SKY: BIG IDEAS A Bozeman Technology Summit to Bozeman

Big Sky: Big Ideas is a one-of-a-kind technology conference, organized by PFL (PrintingForLess), a prominent technology company in the Bozeman area. The summit will be the first of its kind, open to the public, and will address the technology landscape and its effects on a global scale.
PFL is excited to announce its partnership with the Big Sky Code Academy for the Big Sky: Big Ideas technology summit. The Big Sky Code Academy is an accelerated coding boot camp offering online and on-site immersive training for the next generation of programmers, with class offerings in Missoula, Butte, Bozeman, Billings, Helena and Great Falls. With its vision to nurture Montana’s growing economy through workforce training, empowerment, and advocacy, the Big Sky Code Academy offers a unique spin on traditional coding boot camps with its Montana Code Girls and Code4Philanthropy initiatives.
Devin B. Holmes, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of the Big Sky Code Academy, will be a featured speaker, giving a talk entitled Playing the Long Game - Building a Lasting Talent Pool. Holmes will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Montana employers and what they can do to ensure a sustainable and accessible talent pool across the state.
In addition, the Academy will be launching its Sit With Me Montana campaign at the conference. As part of the Montana Code Girls initiative, this campaign joins the national Sit With Me campaign to “inspire women in computing and IT… and to recognize the value of women’s technical contributions.” This is just one of many of the Academy’s initiatives to ensure larger and more diverse participation in technology as Montana companies aim to grow the local talent pool and workforce.

Held on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 1 pm, the summit will be hosted at The Commons located at 1794 Baxter Lane E. Bozeman, MT 59715. The summit will connect business leaders from across the state who are serious about technology, forward-thinking sales and marketing strategies, and creating more high-paying jobs in Montana.
