Special student rate for RNA Nanotechnology conference
Fusion Conferences and the Chairs of RNA Nanotechnology have introduced a Special Student Rate for their conference on 01-04 August 2016.The conference, to be held at Wokefield Park in Berkshire, UK, sold out earlier this month with registrations being closed off to the public, but Fusion have opened up some spaces to allow students to enjoy the conference at a discounted rate.
Dr. Peixuan Guo of Ohio State University and one of the conference’s chairs, says, “It is really important to us that the discussions and unpublished work being showcased in this conference are shared with the bright minds of the future. We want to be able to support students by providing access for them to attend and engage in such a vital topic.”
After chemical drugs and protein-based drugs, it is believed RNA drugs will be the next milestone in pharmaceutics. The field of RNA Nanotechnology was first realised and demonstrated in 1998 by Dr. Peixuan Guo, and since then it has grown into a mature field composed of several subfields covered by many disciplines such as chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and many more. Dr. Guo says “There is a need for an all-encompassing conference of RNA nanotechnology that brings together all scientists in the field”.
Key sessions to be discussed include Biophysical approaches in RNA Nanotechnology, RNA Nanoparticle structure and folding, RNA Modeling and Nanoimmunology, amongst others.
The cost for a student to attend will be £300 and this will cover registration for all four days of the conference, daily refreshments, lunch and dinner on 01, 02 and 03 August. Accommodation (if required) and transportation to and from the conference venue will need to be arranged independently.
The deadline for students to register is Wednesday 27 July.
