TASSO and the animals can look forward to CHARE donations in the future

CHARE has placed TASSO e. V. on its list of charitable institutions, as an aid organization that can be supported. CHARE users can donate their time spent online to the animal-protection organization.

Frankfurt, July 21, 2016 – Animals are among the most vulnerable members of our society and are dependent on aid in many cases. It doesn’t matter whether this concerns stray cats, puppy mills, or animal experimentation. Dedicated people are required to give a better future to animals in need. TASSO e. V. advocates for animal protection on a small and large scale. The organization relies on donations to be able to do so, and it is now looking forward to working together with CHARE. This opens up the possibility for animal lovers to donate to animals with every hour spent online - without actually spending any money themselves.

From TASSO’s perspective, to be administered by CHARE as a charitable organization means the prospect of even better chances for animals. It is said at TASSO that "one drop of aid is worth more than an ocean full of sympathy." The work of the animal-aid organization is unique and is only made possible by donations. TASSO is very much dependent on them as the association does not receive public funding nor any state subsidies. "Every donation contributes toward helping approximately 60,000 runaway pets, and these animals are saved from a mostly sad fate in an animal shelter," says Bjorn Beyersdorff, the inventor and CEO of CHARE, relating his experience.

TASSO has set itself the task of helping in the search and return of runaway pets. For over 30 years, TASSO has dedicated itself to animal protection through the registration of animals. By getting pets microchipped and registered with TASSO, a runaway animal can now be returned by TASSO every ten minutes. "You can’t protect an animal from running away. But in the past, they couldn’t come back," says Philip McCreight, director of the TASSO Pet Center in Sulzbach. In addition, various animal-welfare projects are supported in Germany and abroad.
