The Making of an Aeroplane: Behind the Scenes at VIT Bhopal's AEROGO Workshop

Hey there, fellow adventurers! Get ready for an exhilarating ride because I've got a thrilling story to tell. It all started with our recent trip to VIT Bhopal, a journey filled with surprises, exploration, and a good dose of fun. Hold on tight for a high-flying adventure through our recent RC Plane Aeromodelling Workshop at NITK Surathkal.

Setting Off from Bangalore:
It all began on the afternoon of the 16th as we bid farewell to the familiar sights of Bangalore. With hearts set on adventure and bags packed with excitement, we left the office at 2:25 pm, ready to embark on what promised to be a journey of a lifetime. Our destination: VIT Bhopal.

Upon reaching Yelahanka railway station, we eagerly awaited our train to Bhopal. As we passed the time, an adorable baby caught our attention, filling our hearts with joy and bringing a cozy warmth to our waiting time. Soon enough, our train arrived at 4:10 pm, and we eagerly boarded, settling into our seats with smiles and excitement.

Aboard the Train:
As the train chugged along, we settled into the rhythm of the journey. Snacks were passed around, and conversations flowed freely. We shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed the scenic landscapes rolling by. As night fell, we even managed to catch a few winks under the starry sky.

The next morning, the 17th, we started our day with a hearty breakfast on the train. The day unfolded with chats, music, and even a movie. At one of the station stops, we ventured out to sample some spicy local food-a delightful addition to our journey. The rest of the day was spent practicing for our upcoming workshop at VIT Bhopal. After a simple dinner, we took a short nap, eagerly anticipating our arrival in Bhopal.

Arrival in Bhopal:
By 1:30 am on the 18th, we arrived at Bhopal railway station, where a friendly cab driver was waiting to take us to VIT Bhopal. After a smooth ride, we were greeted with warm hospitality and cozy accommodations-just what we needed to recharge before the start of our workshop.

The Workshop at VIT Bhopal:
The workshop began at 10:45 am, and it was an absolute blast! We taught, we learned, and we had a fantastic time with everyone. The energy in the room was contagious, and by 5:30 pm, we wrapped up the day feeling proud and accomplished. After the workshop, we took a refreshing walk around the campus, enjoying the evening breeze and the lively atmosphere. A delightful dinner followed, and we called it a night, ready for more fun the next day.

The Final Stretch:
On the 19th, we woke up bright and early for the last day of the workshop. The day went smoothly, and we wrapped up with a sense of accomplishment. Afterward, we hopped into a car and made our way to the mess, eager to refuel with some snacks before returning to our rooms. Fueled by determination and teamwork, we assembled two planes with care and precision and gifted them to the college-a perfect way to leave our mark at VIT Bhopal.

With our bags packed and tickets in hand, we anxiously boarded the train back to Bangalore. A moment of concern arose when one of our tickets was on a waiting list, but it was quickly confirmed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the journey. We celebrated with a hearty dinner before drifting off to sleep.

Returning to Bangalore:
The next morning, we arrived at Rani Kamala Pati railway station at 3:45 am. Despite the early hour, the station's beauty and serene atmosphere left us in awe. After securing tickets to Itarsi, we boarded the train at 4:45 am to continue our journey. At Itarsi, we ventured out for a delicious breakfast, savoring the local flavors before returning to the station to await our connecting train.

As the day progressed, we filled the time with a combination of eating, sleeping, and reminiscing about our incredible adventure. However, fate had one final surprise in store for us. Our express train, which typically had no stop in Yelahanka, unexpectedly paused for three minutes. This brief pause allowed us to retrieve a forgotten bag-an exhilarating moment as we dashed out and sprinted back just in time.
Finally, at 1:35 pm, we arrived back in Bangalore, filled with memories of our incredible journey to VIT Bhopal and back. Despite the challenges and unexpected twists, this adventure was a testament to the power of teamwork, perseverance, and the joy of exploration.
