410 Line Dancers Present 2024 Texas Jam: A Celebration of Juneteenth with Line Dancing and Health Fair Extravaganza: June 14-16, 2024 - Sheraton DFW Hotel
The Texas Jam isn't just any event-it's a "party with a purpose" that seamlessly blends the infectious joy of soul line dancing with a free public health fair, June 15, from 9 am to 3 pm, dedicated to promoting well-being, fitness, and community engagement.
"This year's Texas Jam is not just about dancing-it's about honoring Juneteenth with a culture of soul line dancing, as well as promoting leadership, community service, networking, and diversity & inclusion," exclaimed Isha Hutchinson, founder of 410 Line Dancers. "We're bringing together seven of the nation's top line dance instructors to ensure everyone has a blast, alongside a free health fair that's open to all. It's a weekend you won't want to miss!"
Dr. Sharisse Stephenson, health fair event organizer, added, "The Texas Jam Health Fair is all about embracing diversity, empowerment, and inclusivity. From exploring health and wellness to spirituality, beauty, and culture, there's something for everyone. We're excited to welcome free resistance band workshop, panel discussion on hair care for women, health workshops, free health screens, and our special senior hour will feature chair dancing and swag bags filled with goodies. Plus, the health fair boasts sponsors, vendors, and engaging talks!"
