Christmas really is a time for forgiveness

Press release from: Squirl Limited

It would seem that the Christmas spirit is still alive and well despite the general consensus that the festive season has become commercialised and lost it’s true meaning. Website iwishidsaid.com has seen a dramatic increase in members saying sorry and thank you over the holiday period in comparison to the rest of the year.

The site, which allows people to say anything they ever wish they had said, but never did, has had a fifty percent increase in messages of regret and thanks in comparison to usual.

Company spokesman Andrew Holmes explains: “During the past year the most common type of entry people have made are those of anger and getting issues off their chests to ex-lovers, colleagues and bosses. Since the beginning of December we have noticed a dramatic increase in people saying thank-you or sorry and the majority of entries made on the site over the Christmas period have generally been warm-hearted.”

The free site attracts all types of entries from confessions to things people wished they had said to friends and relations, it also allows those who log onto the site to find out what people wished they has said to them.

“It’s nice to see a number of positive entries being made as people reflect on the year and look ahead to the next” Says Andrew. “ We hope that the site has healed a few rifts and brought some people closer together this Christmas”.

Christmas in Phuket
Phuket, Thailand: Thailand is a 95% Buddhist country so Christmas is not a festival that officially appears in the Thai calendar, but with a large ex-pat community and Thais who love an excuse to have fun, Christmas is celebrated in fine spirit every year - especially in Phuket. In fact, they started playing Christmas carols in Phuket’s Tesco on 19th November which took me by surprise. Then I noticed the frozen
Merry Christmas
’Tis The Season To Celebrate The Annual Festive Tradition Of Refusing To Call Christmas “Christmas.” 68% of Americans say they prefer to be greeted with “Merry Christmas” and not “Happy Holidays” and yet each year the Anti-Christmas Brigade takes to the streets, and takes to the airwaves, to protest against Americans calling Christmas by its name. Why is that? Sometimes the best way to understand why people do what they do is to
